Jewel Orchid - Macodes Petola

A little velvet sparkle for your jar. The Jewel Orchid (Macodes Petola) is a true showstopper — deep, velvety green leaves traced with shimmering gold and silver veins that genuinely look like they've been hand-painted.

This one's a bit more of a diva than most: it needs consistently high humidity and low, indirect light, which makes it an ideal match for closed terrariums where that moisture stays locked in. Not one for drier or brighter setups.

Its striking veined foliage makes it a natural focal point — the kind of plant that draws the eye first in any mixed jar, so give it a bit of space to shine rather than crowding it in.
