Pilea Depressa

A lush green groundcover for your terrarium. Pilea Depressa brings tiny, round, bright green leaves in a dense, creeping mat — genuinely one of the best groundcover plants for filling in gaps and softening bare soil in a jar.

This one likes consistent humidity and bright, indirect light, making it a great fit for closed or semi-open terrariums. It's a fairly easygoing grower and spreads nicely once it's settled in.

Its low, trailing habit makes it perfect for cascading over the edge of a jar or carpeting the base as a lush groundcover, adding texture and that all-important "just found in the woods" feel.
